In this section features DVJ projects developed by VHS.
An experimental and arty approach to AV work.
Our project always have considered various issues about Culture.
Inspired in various phenomena of 20th century: Dada, Pop Art, D.I.Y., Sci-fi; and in different areas such as: Music, Science, Design, Art and Cinema, VHS conceive AV contents based in original footage and sampled contents (TV, films, documentaries,etc) mixed with motion graphics and sounds using AV technology.

Riding in the Stars: Promotional reel about 50 min. dvj set performed by VHS and Dj Ride. An experimental performance with video and sound turntablism based on: Grid software, Pionner DVJ and turntables. Inspired in visual universes such as: Advertising, Cinema, TV phenomena, and in breakbeat era this live-act with 50 minutes of breaks, scratch and sampled video footage results in fusion of pure entertainment and chilled-out moments.
It was performed in Numero-Projecta Fest 2006, in Cinema S.Jorge, Lisbon and in REC Madrid 2007 Fest.

P.U.K. - Progressive Urban Culture: Promo reel about DVJ set featuring AV clips created by VHS.
P.U.K. it's an AV document based in various contents (original and sampled) that describes a narrative concerning Humanity.
Culture, consume, knowledge, past and future are concepts reflected in each video mixed live by VHS.
Rhythm, surprise, entertainment and improvise defines P.U.K. also the modern digital era. This reel presents excerpts of various AV clips. This project is a work in progress. It was only performed once in ZDB gallery, Lisbon.
