Video jamming consists in live video mixing using video loops with the purpose of creating visual atmospheres or to illustrate one or more concepts related with any type of message. There are many types of performance: live video mixing for concerts; video jamming as part of dj's performances in clubs and events; and there is live video mixing to promote products, brands and institutions in events or campaigns.
Each performance is the result of a process that starts in defining the kind of act. Follows the studio process, investigation and development of video contents. The last one is live video mixing using created contents. During all process it's very important to define technical conditions - kind of video projection, regie and equipment to be used in performance.

Video Jamming - live video mixing - it's a recent creative activity with a strong and important communicative potential. In the last decade vjaying become part of the entertainment culture.
For Video House Stars it's a kind of laboratory for the exploration of concepts and aesthetics related to visual communication.
Inspired by different areas such as: graphic design, cinema, tv, music and other cultural phenomena VHS create and mix visuals adapted to each situation.

They have been performing in major portuguese Fests: Sudoeste, Hype@Meco, CBT Heineken, Imago Film Fest and in portuguese clubs: Kadoc, Garage, Vaticano, Twins, Clinic, Office e Lux. With international musicians and dj's: Dj Vibe, Dezperados, 2 Many Dj's, Truby Trio, Peter Kruder, Herbert, Tiga, Vitalic, Ivan Smagghe, LCD Sound System, among others.
They were invited to perform vj in the 1st and 2nd Dif Magazine anniversary that took place in Lux club.
They have conceived and mixed visual support for two live performances at the Lisbon Village Fest in 2006. Although they have participated in many other portuguese events and private parties.
They were nominated for Dance Club Awards in Video Jamming category (2005 and 2006).
